Network planning, design, and standard configurations. Provide capacity planning for the application and performance management on the network. Cost benefits analysis of network solutions as they apply to business objectives. Participate in ongoing network design reviews in search of improved user experience performance and cost reductions. Ensure risk-free implementation of all business and technology solutions. Escalation support for the network build team. Documentation of network designs and standards. Influence network technology and application architecture. Product selection, pilot and implementation of network solutions which meet customer and future business requirements.  Requirements: 5+ years design and deployment experience with Cisco and or Juniper routers and switches.  Working knowledge of MPLS VPN architecture, expert level knowledge of OSPF and BGP protocols, strong experience of LAN switching technologies. Must have a practical experience in the design of VOIP solutions. Understanding of the requirement for converged voice, video and data network design. Familiar with WAN acceleration technology and internet-based technologies and tools. Understanding of Wireless technologies and associated protocols. Ability to operate with network-troubleshooting tools. (Fluke Networks, Opnet, Netqos) Familiar with the principals related to secure network design practices. Strong oral and written English communication skills. Ability to communicate technical proposals to management.
